Early detection saves lives. Access and trust close gaps.
Pink Kizzez is a breast cancer awareness organization dedicated to educating and empowering underserved communities. Our mission is to promote early detection, provide education, and connect women and families with the resources they need during and after diagnosis. We believe breast cancer does not have to be a death sentence when detected early. We show up in neighborhoods, churches, schools, and community events to raise awareness, share resources, and offer hope. At Pink Kizzez, no one walks alone.
Pink Kizzez is committed to raising awareness of breast cancer and supporting causes that bring healing, strength, and unity to our community. Founded by a survivor, we seek to be the change we once craved—offering hope, empowering others, and walking together toward a future where no one fights alone.
Relive the day—here are a few moments from Malcolm X Boulevard.
Thank you to everyone who showed up in pink and brought the energy. Below is a short recap video and a photo carousel with highlights from the day.
Tamara “Tammi Terrell” Walton
In 2012, Tamara “Tammi Terrell” Walton was diagnosed with breast cancer. She endured treatment, multiple surgeries, and reconstruction. In 2014, she also faced a cervical cancer diagnosis. Her lived experience led her to launch Pink Kizzez in 2017—linking women with mentors, support groups, and practical resources while pushing for early screenings and equitable care.
Together, we can create a future where no one faces breast cancer alone.
